I came across this article and video. It was hurtful, very hurtful to see how the old man was treated. How can anyone be so inhumane? His professionalism and good-nature, I salute. I liked his positiveness, choosing to just brush this incident aside as pure bad luck. He chose to forget the matter and I guess this "mindset" is what is lacking in the lives of many modern people. No amount of PERFECT EDUCATION is going to teach you that. It is really heartening to see a man his age, working hard for a living only to be humiliated by 3 very able-bodied ang-mohs. Social class may differ, status maybe different, BUT in no way should anyone be TREATED like that! Get alive you 3 Brits, go back to being a baby - you desperately need someone to teach you how to be a HUMAN and your ABCs! You reap what you sow definitely. Maybe this backlash kick some sense into your way of behaviour. SCRAM! Monday, October 22, 2007 @ 11:18 PM
How true this prayer holds. (: Lord, grant me a quiet heart, before exams start. Lead me to use my leisure hours, to invigorate my powers. My mind from daydreams liberate, give me the will to concentrate. From all the distractions set me free; that in my studies I may be a student with a sole fulfilment, to make my work a sacrament. From my faint heart in love expel, all failures fears that thereindwell. And from my pillow drive away, all dark foreboding of the day. Help me in faith to rest so deep, that I may have untroubled sleep. While notes and lectures I prepare, may I not lose my zest for prayer. And may I not forget to look, for guidance in Thy Book. and may I ever grateful be, to all who daily pray for me. While for myself I intercede, for other students too I plead; so may exams find each one alert in heart and mind. Thus inward joy and peace possessing, May exams prove a source of blessing. By God's grace and His spirit in us, all will be wonderfully awesome. For you and you and you! Cheers. (: Friday, October 19, 2007 @ 2:27 AM

![]() We go to Zara and try out their foolishly expensvie heels and snow hats. ![]() Then, we try to act "atas" and be "chi-chi" tai-tais, tantalising our tastebuds with traditional Italian wood-fired pizza and home-made pastas. Gorgeous I tell you. (: ![]() With very satisfied tummies, we received beautiful daisies on the street and splurged our calories on mudpies and chicago cheesecakes at Coffee Bean. Juicy bytes and acting emo till the wee hours of the morning. Ha! Shiok-a-doo-doo, as I like to call it. Oh ya, we found the perfect aim for our next pay check, if it ever comes that is. TOSCANO, TOSCANO, TOSCANO. Pull up the socks, pretties, exams in 10 days. BOO ): (P.S. Before I get caught, the photos are snatched from them. Thx.) Monday, October 08, 2007 @ 10:31 PM
--------------------- I hereby charge myself GUILTY! But S, do read how my Sunday turned out..... Here's goes, after church service, my wonderful Dad told me he had a last minute golf game at 12 noon at Marina Golf Club, a super "ooh-loo-cha-cha" place. (Time when he picked us was 11.30am) As there was no time to get home, we made a mad drive to the club and I was instructed to drive the car home. I was like ......... (first whammy) When I got the car, my mom thought I fit the role of a chauffeur really well and instructed me to drive to this "log-kok" industrial park to get winter clothes. (second whammy) Then it rained and our car was at the open air carpark. Stranded at the shop. (third whammy) Finally, the rained gave face and stopped. We went to the car and prepared to go home. Then then then, the automatic carpark payment thing, broke down and GULPed my cashcard down. (fourth whammy) I had to hunt for the security guard, some more Sunday. Luckily he was working. Now you know why. (: My mood was horrendous and did I say, lunch was not in my tummy yet. oh well. I have learnt to: Rejoice in my problems Pray about my problems Rest and Relax when I face problems For God holds my tomorrow, I have nothing to fear. - Back to books - Wednesday, October 03, 2007 @ 11:17 PM
